KARACHI, Nov 20: Arguments were completed on Monday in the Accountability Court No. 2 with regard to a NAB reference against the Alliance Motors.

The court fixed Nov 27 for the judgment.

The firm has been charged with luring investment to the tune of Rs3.57 billion from 48,250 people for heavy returns.

However, instead of investing this amount, it was distributed among relatives and close friends, the NAB reference charged.

The accused in the case are Asghar Ali Qureshi (late), Hamid Ali Qureshi (on bail), Mohammed Tayyab (in jail custody) and Mohammed Ibrahim (in jail custody).—APP
