LAHORE, Nov 8: President Lahore Region Aamir Hayat Khan Rokri beat his Sialkot counterpart Naeem Gulzar on the spin of a coin to earn a seat in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Governing Board, which is going to hold its first meeting at a local hotel on Friday.

After Islamabad, Karachi, Multan and Peshawar Regions had decided their representation amicably there was a tie between Rokri and Naeem for the fifth seat of the regions. PCB chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf spun the coin with Rokri calling for the head to win.

After the decision PCB chairman congratulated Rokri for his success. Gulzar also accepted the decision with open heart.

The Governing Board was formed after the notification of the new PCB constitution in last month, ending a long eight-year ad hocism in the board.
