Nasir in Riyadh tennis quarters

KARACHI, Oct 31: Reigning national junior champion (Under-18), Nasir Mushtaq, stormed into the quarter-finals of the eighth Saudi ITF world ranking juniors’ tennis championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday.

According to the results, Nasir who is seeded eighth, inflicted 6-1, 6-1 defeat on Al Rajeh of Egypt in the opener and later accounted for Kuwait’s Hasan Al Mousa in three sets 6-4, 4-6, 7-6.

He is drawn to meet Martin Prikryl of the Czech Republic in the quarter-finals.
