One killed in firing outside ATC

FAISALABAD, Oct 31: One person was killed and five others injured in indiscriminate firing outside the Anti-Terrorism Court here on Wednesday.

According to police, Afzal Dhaloon of Chak 186-RB was coming out of the court along with accomplices when his rivals riding two cars opened fire. Afzal, Naeem, Arshad, Waheed, Shafaat Baig and Hamza sustained injuries and were taken to Allied Hospital where Arshad died.

Meanwhile, members of the District Bar Association, Faisalabad, boycotted courts after 12 noon to protest against the incident.—APP
