KARACHI: Arbab gives land to SHC

KARACHI, Oct 30: Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim on Tuesday visited the Sindh High Court and met Chief Justice Sabihuddin Ahmad in his chamber.

The chief minister, who was accompanied by Chief Secretary Ejaz Qureshi, Finance Secretary Malik Asrar and Law Secretary Ghulam Nabi Shah inquired about the problems being faced by the judiciary.

Dr Rahim ordered promotion of judges to the next higher grade.

He also ordered installation of air-conditioners in the court rooms and handing over of a piece of land for milk plant located near Civic Centre to the Sindh High Court for the construction of a judicial complex.

Dr Rahim also ordered that all the adjoining barracks should be handed over to the high court.
