RIYADH, Oct 25: Two Pakistanis were beheaded in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, the interior ministry said.

Bakhityar Khan was executed in the Red Sea city of Jeddah for drug smuggling, while Shahid Jameel was put to death in the city for murder, the ministry said in a statement carried by the official SPA news agency.

Their executions took to 126 the number of people put to death by Saudi Arabia this year, outstripping the previous record of 113 during all of 2000.
