5 ‘militants’ arrested in Zhob

QUETTA, Oct 22: Five local Taliban suspects were arrested in the Gul Kach area of Zhob on Monday. Official sources said that Frontier Corps personnel deployed in the area adjacent to the NWFP intercepted a pick-up that was coming from Dera Ismail Khan.

During search, the personnel found arms and ammunition in the vehicle, they added.

The sources said that the arrested people belonged to the Mehsood tribe and might have links with the Baitullah Mehsood group. They were identified as Rehman Gul, Abdul Rehman, Asghar Khan Zaman Gul and Rehan Gul.
