KHAIRPUR, March 22: Three people were injured, including two policemen of Bozdar Wada police station, in a clash between the Ujjan and the Tanwri tribes.

The injured were identified as Mumtaz Hussain (Incharge PS), Ashiq Hussain Thebo (constable) and Pongar Tanwri.

Taluka Nazim and SHO Thari Mirwah police station reached the spot and set up two police check posts in the area to face any untoward situation.

No case was registered till the filing of this report.

DISCONNECTION: Hesco, Khairpur, has disconnected electric supply to one unit building due to non-payment of dues.

All the divisional/district heads, project director, SCARP, regional manager, SAZDA, EDOs and other offices are situated in the building.

DCO: Mushtaq Ahmed Memon took over the charge of District Coordination Officer, Khairpur, on Thursday.

The post had been lying vacant for last two months.

His body was not found till the filing of this report.

ARRESTED: Sorah police have arrested Soomri on the complaint of her husband, Zamanullah.

She was allegedly involved in the murder case of Hakimzadi, first wife of Zamanullah.
