DADU, Oct 10: Villagers staged a protest demonstration here on Wednesday against two government officials, accusing them of trying to occupy 400 acres of land.

The protesters said the auditor sales tax Makhdoom Muneer-ul- Haq, and SDO roads Roads Makhdoom Aziz-ul Haq were trying to grab the land of Makhdoom Abdul Hafeez, son of their spiritual leader Makhdoom Zafar ul Haq of Dargah Pat Sharif.

They said the henchmen of the officials had established camps at the land.

Wazir Solangi said if accusation against Makhdoom Abdul Hafeez did not stop, disciples and devotees of Dargah Pat Sharif will launch series of protests in favour of their spiritual leader in Sindh The protestors appealed to President General Pervez Musharraf and Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim to take notice and direct police and administration to resolve their problem.
