KARACHI, Sept 27: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has finalised a programme for the upcoming Inter-university sports events for men and women for 2007-08 which begins from Oct 25.

According to the schedule, men will compete in 27 disciplines and women in nine.

Men’s events: hockey, weightlifting, table tennis, gymnastics, chess, body building, mountaineering, badminton, basketball, kabaddi, rifle shooting, squash, athletics, football, tennis, cricket, handball, boxing, trekking, wrestling, malh, rovering, tug of war, hiking, shootingball, volleyball and swimming.

Women’s events: basketball, tennis, volleyball, badminton, hockey, cricket, athletics, handball and table tennis.
