Warden injured on road

LAHORE, Sept 26: A traffic warden was injured in a road accident at Chauburgi Chowk on Wednesday morning.

Reports said Syed Mohsin Raza, of Sheikhupura, in plainclothes was going on his motorcycle when a passenger van hit him. The warden sustained critical head injuries. Van driver Tariq, a resident of Mohlanwal, with the help of some locals rushed Mohsin to a private hospital from where he was shifted to the Lahore General Hospital due to his critical condition. Mohsin was currently deployed at Garhi Shaho Chowk.Lytton Road police arrested the van driver and registered a case against him. — Staff Reporter
