SUKKUR, Sept 25: The Sindh High Court’s Sukkur bench ordered the Khairpur DPO on Tuesday to arrest by Thursday all the policemen wanted for the illegal detention of 21 villagers.

The court also directed to register an FIR against the SHO investigation Sobhodero who had arrested two accused ASIs and one constable but later released them.

Sindh High Court had ordered to register 21 separate FIRs against ten police officials at Sobhodero police station.

The raid commissioner under the order of Sindh High Court Sukkur had raided the Sobhodero police station a week ago and found the 21 villagers detained who had been arrested illegally by the police for many days.—PPI
