11 injured in accident

KOHAT, Sept 15: At least 11 people were injured in a head-on collision between a Peshawar-bound oil taker and a pickup on the Indus Highway in the Jarma village on Saturday.

Police said the accident occurred due to speeding of the oil tanker. The people who were injured were all travelling in the pickup. They were taken to the district headquarters hospital.

A case was registered against the oil tanker driver at the Saddar police station and the vehicle was impounded. Police also claimed to have arrested the driver.
