KARACHI : Fahim Zaman grieved

KARACHI, Sept 14: Mrs Pari Begum, mother of former KMC administrator Fahim Zaman Khan, passed away early Friday morning. She was 82.She was laid to rest in the Qayyumabad graveyard following her funeral prayers at Masjid-i-Saeem after Juma prayers.

City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal and leaders and activists of various political, religious and social organisations, besides government officials and a large number of the deceased’s relatives, attended the funeral.

Mrs Pari Begum leaves her husband Sultan Zaman Khan, four sons and three daughters.

Quran Khwani for the departed soul will be held on Sunday between Zuhar and Asr prayers at Masjid-i-Saeem, near Cantonment Board, DHA. For ladies, arrangements for Quran Khwani have been made at 95, 13th Street, off Khyaban-i-Sehar, DHA.
