DADU, Sept 9: Two boys died in two separate incidents on Sunday.

Barkat Shah, 9, was crushed to death under the wheels of an oil tanker on Indus Highway near Sann town.

Reports said the boy was hit when he was crossing the highway.

After the incident hundreds of villagers blocked the road and staged demonstration. They smashed the glasses of a police mobile, other vehicles and damaged the oil tanker.

They were led by father of the deceased Ali Akbar Shah.

Former MPA Syed Amir Haider Shah reached the spot and assured the villagers of justice, but they refused to budge and continued their protest.

Meanwhile in other incident, a ten-year old Madad Ali Rind died after being hit by a tractor on Kandiaro-Mohabbat Dero road, reports our Naushahro Feroze correspondent.

The Kandiaro police have impounded the tractor but failed to arrest the driver who fled leaving the tractor behind.

The body of the victim was taken to the Kandiaro Taluka Hospital and handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
