Teenager commits suicide

ATTOCK, Sept 2: A teenaged boy committed suicide while a man was killed in a road accident on Saturday, police said.

Tauqeer (17), a resident of Jalalia village in Hazro tehsil, took pesticides after scuffling with his brother over a domestic dispute.

The boy died before getting medical treatment.

Meanwhile, an unidentified pedestrian was run over and killed by a speeding car on the G.T. Road near the Kamra Chowk. Later, officials of the tehsil administration buried the unclaimed body in a local graveyard.

TWO ELECTROCUTED: Two persons died of electric shock in separate incidents taking place in Hassanabdal.

Ajmal Ahmed was busy doing construction work on the roof of his house along the Railway Road when his head came in contact with a power line. As a result, he died on the spot.

Similarly, another local resident identified as Bashir was electrocuted while repairing a fan.
