MIRPURKHAS: SHO issued notice

MIRPURKHAS, Aug 31: Two police officials have been suspended and show-cause notice issued to the SHO Taluka Police Station, on Friday for raiding the house of a local journalist in search of a suspected thief.

Report said a police party headed by SHO Qurban Mallah raided the house of newsman Syed Zahir Hussain Shah at Pak Colony on Thursday night.

Journalists protested the raid and termed it a wrongful act. Police said they were searching a suspected bike lifter Raja and entered the journalist’s house.

The DPO after an inquiry suspended ASI Mashoor Malkani and Constable Malik Aijaz and issuing explanation notice to SHO Qurban Mallah.
