DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 29: Mir Badshah Qaisrani, the tribal chief of Qaisrani tribe and MPA-cum-parliamentary secretary, has sent his resignations from both posts to PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto after joining the party as a confidence-building measure.

Mr Badshah, an MPA from PP-240, has sent his resignations from membership of the provincial assembly and parliamentary secretary slot.

Mrs Mir Badshah confirmed the development and said they had been in contact with the PPP for long. She said many political figures of the district would join the PPP in near future.

GAS PROJECT: Work on the project to supply gas to Rajanpur and Jampur has been commenced.

Federal Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari said this while talking to mediapersons at the residence of former tehsil nazim Qazi Saifullah in Jampur, some 45kms from here on Wednesday.

The minister said the project had been approved during the tenure of former president Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari while work on it was halted after he resigned from his office.

It may be mentioned that the pipelines were laid in Jampur town when Farooq Leghari was the president, but the gas could be supplied.

Now, these pipelines have rusted and there is a need to replace them before supplying gas to the domestic users.
