KOHAT, Aug 25: Two people, including a traffic police constable and a five-year-old girl, were killed and another man was injured in an exchange of fire between rival groups in Ustarzai on Saturday.

According to the FIR registered by both the groups, Ifitiqab and Ghulam Raza came face to face with old rivals Shafaat and Mujahid and opened fire on each other.

As a result, Iftiqab was killed and his cousin Ghulam Raza was injured seriously.

From the other side a minor girl, Farah, who was accompanying her father and uncle, was killed.

The Ustarzai police registered a case and arrested Ghulam Raza.

The other accused escaped from the place after committing crime.

The police are investigating the case.
