KARACHI: Woman commits suicide

KARACHI, Aug 7: A woman apparently committed suicide in Shah Rasool Colony in the Clifton area on Tuesday. Police said 18-year-old Sughra, wife of Wajid, was alone in the house as the rest of the family members had gone to work.

Police said that when the family members returned they found Sughra hanging from the ceiling fan in the house.

Her body was taken to the Jinnah Hospital for postmortem examination, police said.

Police said the motive for the suicide was not clear.
