MIRPURKHAS, July 30: The DIG Police Mirpurkhas, Fayyaz Ahmed Khan Leghari has constituted six police teams to arrest accused involved in Mannu Bheel case. Two teams had been constituted for Mirpurkhas and four for Sanghar on PPO Sindh’s directives.

The PPO directed the RPO Hyderabad and the DIG Mirpurkhas to constitute police teams to arrest the accused of Mannu Bheel case before August 15. Two teams for Mirpurkhas were being led by DPO Abdullah Shaikh and SP Investigation Mirpurkhas Noorul Haq Rind and SPO Jhuddo Abbas Gadhi in charges of first and second police teams, respectively.

The four teams for Sanghar were being headed by the DPO Sanghar Ajmal Magsi while the SP Investigation Imdad Solangi was in-charge of a police team and the SPOs in charge of three teams.

A Sanghar team led by the SP Investigation Sanghar raided Mohammad Hayat Jinar village near Naokot and took into custody Mansingh Bheel and Harji Bheel, the two suspects for interrogation.

Prime accused Abdul Rehman Mari was in jail, another accused Basheer Punjabi died, while Hashim and Natho Bheel were at large. Two accused Jumo Bheel and Jamal Machhi were in district prison.

The Supreme Court was seized of the suo motu proceedings of the case. Police failed to recover abducted members of Mannu Bheel. Dozens of police officers had been suspended for their failure to recover hostages.
