KARACHI, July 21: A woman was found dead at her home three months after her marriage in Orangi Town on Saturday. Police said Noor Jehan, 18, was found dead in the absence of her husband Jehangir. Her father-in-law Abdul Rasheed brought her body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where her post-mortem examination was performed.

Her body viscera were sent to a laboratory for histopathology and chemical tests. The cause of her death could not be ascertained yet.

However, after the receipt of lab tests doctors would be in a better position to determine the cause of her death.

Her father Abdul Kalam, who also reached the hospital, accused her in-laws of her daughter’s death. On his complaint, police registered a case.
