LAHORE, July 7: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) will organise Talent Grooming hockey tournament at the National Hockey Stadium from Aug 5 to 14. In all, eight teams including seven of talent grooming centres, which are currently in progress in different cities along with the national champion NBP will take part in the tournament.

The grooming centres’ camp are scheduled to conclude on July 31. The camps are being supervised by different Olympians.

The camps were working in Peshawar, Bannu, Lahore, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Karachi and Quetta.

All matches of the grooming camp will be witnessed by national selection committee headed by Khawaja Zakauddin.

Best players will be picked through the tournament to call them in the national camp for the Champions Trophy World tournament to be held at National Hockey Stadium from Dec 1 to 9, 2007.
