KARACHI, June 18: Sindh Education Secretary Sabhago Khan Jatoi was granted pre-arrest bail by the Sindh High Court on Monday. A division bench comprising Justice Anwer Zaheer Jamali and Justice Qaiser Iqbal granted him bail on furnishing a surety of Rs500,000. The bench adjourned the matter till June 27.

In his application before the SHC, the secretary apprehended his arrest as the NAB had initiated investigation into his alleged involvement in corruption.

ECL: The Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party chief, Dr Qadir Magsi, filed a petition in the High Court against the placement of his name on the Exit Control List.
