Boy abducted for Rs10m ransom

KHANPUR, June 11: An eight-year-old boy was kidnapped for Rs10 million ransom by unidentified car riders in Model Town-B on Sunday.

Muhammad Abdullah, grandson of Malik Muhammad Ramzan, was returning home from a nearby madrasa, when unidentified culprits pushed him into a car and sped away.

Father of the boy Malik Abdul Rehman said the kidnappers had contacted the maternal uncle of the boy on his cell phone and demanded Rs10 million ransom for his release

Police are investigating the incident.
