HYDERABAD, June 11: Tando Allahyar is in the grip of fear and tension following the murder of two peasants and injuries to four others at the hands of bandits in three different incidents that took place late Sunday night.

Reports reaching here said that a group of dacoits attacked the agriculture farm of Major (Retd) Sultan in the jurisdiction of the Pyaro Lund police in which peasants Sajan Kolhi and Nabi Bux Babbar were killed and Wahid Bux was seriously injured.

The peasants were watering the fields when they came under the attack. The condition of Wahid Bux is reported to be serious.

In the second incident, three peasants, who were working at mango orchards near Ghulam Ali village in the jurisdiction of the Tando Allahyar police, were seriously injured in an armed attack by dacoits.

Those injured were identified as Miran, Mohammad Akram and Mohammad Bachal. They were taken to the Hyderabad Civil Hospital for treatment.

In the third incident, a group of highwaymen hijacked an air-conditioned coach, which was on its way to Mirpurkhas from Karachi. They took the coach to Haji Khan Babbar village and robbed the passengers of their valuables.

These three incidents in one night have created fear and panic among the people of Tando Allahyar.
