Okara officials quit MQM

OKARA, June 9: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) office-bearers in Okara have resigned from their offices, according to a press release.

Those who resigned from the party are: MQM Okara Joint In Charge Abid Husain Mughal, District Committee members Khalid Mehmood, Abdul Mannan Sehrai, Dr Nauman Ahmed and Ashfaq Ahmed Baloch, the unit in charge of city Bangla Gogra and all members of the committee. They said they had resigned in protest against the unjust behaviour of the Punjab MQM committee.

BURNT: A man died of burn injuries in a Lahore hospital. Javed Bokhari from Dubai Town caught fire because of gas leakage in his home. He was referred to the Lahore hospital where he died.
