Deaf squash in final stage

LAHORE, June 8: The second All-Pakistan national deaf squash championship for boys and girls entered the final stage after the quarter-finals and semi-finals which were completed at the Punjab Complex on Friday.

Results:

Quarter-finals:

Boys: Bilal Atiq bt Nadeem Akhtar 9-0, 9-0; Sajid Nawaz bt Umar Baig 9-3, 9-3; Saleem Malik bt Aftab Ahmed 10-8, 9-6; Bilal Tahir bt Wasif Faizan 9-4, 9-2.

Girls: Anam Rafiq and Naila got byes; Noor Sahar bt Gulnaz Sadiq 11-6, 13-12; Zehra Asghar got walk over against Nadia Zulfiqar.

Semi-finals:

Boys: Bilal Tahir bt Sajid Nawaz 9-2,

9-6, 9-1; Bilal Atiq bt Saleem Malik 9-3, 9-1, 9-5.

Girls: Naila bt Zehra Asghar 9-1, 9-2; Anam Rafiq bt Noor Sahar 9-0, 9-2, 9-1.
