LAHORE, June 8: Pakistan play Asian silver medallists and hosts China in the opening match of the Four-Nation Good Luck Beijing-2007 International hockey tournament which will be held at the Olympics Green Hockey Field, Beijing from Aug 8-13.

In fact, the competition will serve as a dress rehearsal for next year's Olympic Games to be staged in the Chineses capital in Aug, 2008.

Apart from hosts China, Pakistan, Olympic champions Australia and Malaysia are taking part in the tournament.

The tournament will start with the opening match between Australia and Malaysia.

Pakistan will play next match against Australia on Aug 9. Malaysia are the next rivals of Pakistan on Aug 11.

Schedule:

Aug 8: Australia v Malaysia; Pakistan v China.

Aug 9: Australia v Pakistan; Malaysia v China.

Aug 10: Rest day.

Aug 11: Pakistan v Malaysia; Australia v China.

Aug 12: Rest day.
