WANA, June 7: Two mutilated bodies were recovered from a dry well in South Waziristan Agency on Thursday. Sources said that tribesmen found the bodies in a well in Zera Lita, some 10km from Wana

A local militant commander Maulvi Mohammad Nazir, who had spearheaded an armed campaign against Uzbek militants, hinted at involvement of Uzbeks in the incident. He told Dawn that even though the bodies were unrecognisable, he believed that the men were Turkish and belonged to his group.—Correspondent
