KARACHI, June 3: A rickshaw driver was killed in his friend’s house in Eidgah police area on Sunday.
Amjad, 30, stayed at his friend’s residence when some unknown persons stabbed him to death and fled. Police picked up his friend and started interrogation. Amjad was a resident of Lyari.
In Korangi, the bullet-riddled body of a man with torture marks was found.
Police shifted the body to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy following which it was kept at Edhi morgue for identification.
Police said the torture marks showed that the man might have been kidnapped, tortured and killed somewhere else and later his body was thrown in Korangi No 2 ½.
