OKARA, May 25: The residents of the city have been facing multifarious problems due to closure of both the city railway underpasses for construction of double railway track.

To add to their problems, the tehsil municipal administration has dug out the main sewerage lines on the Ravi and Mandi road intersections.

Traffic remains suspended for hours at all the four level crossings and the traffic police and the tehsil municipal administration are totally indifferent to the people’s problem. No traffic police officials are deployed to regulate the traffic. People have demanded both the departments to perform their duties diligently and save them from botheration.
