PESHAWAR, May 21: Four shops were damaged when a bomb went off in a market near the house of Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, in the Sherpao area of Charsadda district on Monday.

Police arrested a suspect from the place of the blast. He was identified as Mohammed Saeed.

Charsadda SSP Feroz Shah told Dawn that Saeed was a student of a local madressah.
