LARKANA, May 14: Larkana police have sought 200 more policemen from the Sindh Reserve Police (SRP) to cope with a fresh wave of crime in the district. District police had been facing shortage of police force, said the DPO Larkana Azim Tunio while talking to journalists in Naudero on Monday after recovering Prakash Lal who was kidnapped on Sunday night from the Naduero-Ratodero Road.

Prakash Lala, a trader, was recovered after police raid in which two alleged bandits Moharram Jarwar and Shahzado Jarwar were also arrested, said the DPO.

Reports said the recent rise in crime was witnessed after the arrest of a notorious bandit, Payaro Narejo.
