Two killed, 8 injured on road

MURREE, May 11: Two persons were killed and five others injured when a truck fell into a ravine near Sehrbagla area on Friday.

According to sources, the truck (RIH-7665) was moving towards Murree from Kohala, Azad Kashmir, when its brake system developed some fault and the vehicle fell into the gorge at around 2:30am.

Driver Chaudhry Gul Nisar and a trader died on the spot, while five other persons — Mohammad Aslam, Mohammad Arif, Sharif, Faqir Mohammad and Tahir — were injured. In another accident, three people were injured when a truck fell into a ditch along the Kohala-Bridal road.
