HYDERABAD, May 7: Three members of the Gohati family of New Saeedabad have appealed for justice saying that their agricultural land has been occupied by their relatives.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club on Monday, Amirzadi w/o Ghulam Raza Gohati and her daughter Rehana and son Ali Raza Gohati accused their relatives of forcibly taking over 55 acres of their agricultural land in Fatehpur deh, New Saeedabad, Matiari district.

They have appealed to the president and the prime minister, Sindh governor and the chief minister, superior judiciary and Ombudsman to the take notice of the matter and order an impartial inquiry into the case and provide justice to the family.

They alleged that 13 members of their clan on September 23, 2006 forcibly entered their house last year, ransacked it and took away property documents and a car.

They said that the New Saeedabad police did not take action against the accused, and finally on the orders of the Sindh High Court, an FIR was registered on March 8, 2007, but police had not taken any action.

The family accused the police of planning to dispose of the case as B-Class meaning a false case. They said that they had complained to higher police authorities but did not get any response.
