KARACHI, May 3: Al-Khidmat Welfare Society is all set to launch the first phase of its Hepatitis Prevention Vaccination Campaign on May 5-6 in which about 30,000 would be vaccinated against Hepatitis-B.

Unfolding details at a press conference held at the Karachi Press Club on Thursday, Al-Khidmat General Secretary Dr Tabassum Jaffery said that second phase would be held on June 3 while the third on Nov 4.

People over 19 years of age will be vaccinated at a nominal fee of Rs180 instead of the market price Rs369 and Rs90 for children instead of Rs223.

Camps will be set up at 44 various places of the metropolis while the main camp will be set up at Lasbella where former city nazim Niamatullah Khan will inaugurate the campaign at 10am on May 5.—PPI
