OKARA, April 21: An army officer, his wife and two children were found murdered in their Okara Cantonment residence on Saturday.

The murders, according to official sources, surfaced when the batman of Col Abrar Ahmad arrived at the house.

He reportedly found the body of Col Ahmad with a number of stab wounds lying in the courtyard and the bodies of his wife and two sons – Mustafa, 10, and Khizar, 12 – in the kitchen.

The house was cordoned off by law-enforcement agencies.

When this report was filed at 6pm, the autopsy was being conducted in a Cantonment hospital.—Correspondent
