Workshop on jewellery trade

KARACHI, April 18: Pakistan Initiative for Strategic Development and Competitiveness (PISDAC) is organising a one day workshop in Karachi on Thursday and another two-day workshop on Friday and Saturday in Lahore on hallmarking for Pakistani jewellers.

A well-known international consultant Peter Raw has been invited to conduct the workshop. The PISDAC is a US-funded project and gets support from $1.5 billion aid being provided by Washington for five years to help Pakistan improve economic growth, education, health and governance.
