NAWABSHAH, April 8: People seeking information about status of CNICs were facing difficulties due to sudden suspension of Nadra’s online Registration Tracking System (RTS).

The Registration Tracking System site was accessed by all National Swift Registration Centres (NSRC) throughout the country and was providing assistance to the staff for searching data including status of CNIC, objections, rejections and duplications etc.

People who had already applied for CNICs were facing difficulties as officials and other staff of centres could not obtain the required information due to suspension of service.

People visiting the NSRCs were being asked to contact toll free number 111-786-100 for obtaining information about their cards.

Confirming suspension of the system, Deputy Director of NADRA, Sukkur Region, Major Nihal, said that the facility was temporarily suspended and a new site would soon be available for tracking.

He said that RTS was still being accessed to regional offices countrywide and NADRA has provided toll-free number for seeking information.

The citizens have demanded of the Director-General of NADRA to take notice of the suspension of site and make alternate arrangements for providing progress report of CNICs to the people.

INJURED: A man was seriously injured as a result of explosion in a gas cylinder in the Nawabshah Medical College Hospital on Sunday.

The injured was identified as Ghulam Ali Keerio.
