KARACHI: Youth dies in accident

KARACHI, April 4: An 18-year-old youth was killed by a hit-and-run truck in Korangi Industrial Area.

The body was shifted to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre where he was identified as Atif, son of Abdul Qayyum.

INJURED: A former nazim, belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement, was critically injured when two unknown attackers opened fire at him in Surjani.

Police said Abu Talib, 28, was going home on his bike in Sector L-1 where he was attacked around 11:40pm.

The injured was later shifted to Abbasi Shaheed hospital where sources said the victim had received three bullets in his upper torso.

Police have registered a case against two unknown culprits on the complaint of victim’s brother, Zeeshan.
