KARACHI, March 30: Three people were killed in traffic accidents in different parts of the city on Friday. Mohammad Shafiq, 35, was on his way when a speeding truck hit him and ran away near Mai Kolachi Road.

Shafiq sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot. He was a resident of Lines Area and his body was shifted to a hospital for autopsy.

A teenaged motorcyclist died when a speeding truck hit him near Crown Cinema on Mauripur Road. He sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot. The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi. The police said the victim’s identity could not be established.

Another motorcyclist was hit by a speeding vehicle near Hotel Mehran on Sharea Faisal. He died on the spot.
