KARACHI, March 28: After a short layoff due to injury, Nasir Mushtaq steered Creek Club to a convincing 4-0 victory over Quetta Club in pool ‘C’ of the All Pakistan Inter-Club tennis tournament at Karachi Club on Wednesday.

Making his first appearance after sustaining injury at CDGK Sports Complex during a tournament match last month, Nasir demolished Karimullah 6-0, 6-0 in men singles.

Rizwan Shamsi/Farhan consolidated team’s position claiming men doubles when they disposed off Ishaq/Ibrahim 6-4, 7-6.

Hasham Khan proved too good for Hakimullah whom he beat 6-0, 6-0 in juniors U-17 singles.

The pair of Mushtaq/Arshad of Creek Club got a walkover in senior doubles as Quetta failed to enter players.
