HYDERABAD, March 28: The Faculty Development Centre established by at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) at the Directorate of Continuing Education (DCE) in the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro organised its first development training programme on Wednesday. Prof Dr Muhammad Rafique Abro, dean of Faculty of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering said speaking at the inaugural ceremony that higher education was one of the basic development organs of the nation and the faculty of higher learning institutes had to cope with many requirements and challenges of 21st century.

He informed that training programme consisted of six modules educational, psychology, research skills, communication and teaching skills, curriculum development and educational evaluation.
