RAIN stopped play in Pakistan’s match against Zimbabwe at Kingston, Jamaica, on Wednesday. Zimbabwe were in trouble on 30 for three in the 11th over when showers forced the players off the field. The Africans were chasing a mammoth 350 victory target in the Group D match. At Port of Spain, Sri Lanka thrashed Bangladesh by 198 runs. Scores: Sri Lanka 318-4, BD 112 (the target was revised to 311 after rain held up play).—Reuters
