KARACHI: Polythene bags production

KARACHI, March 20: Sindh Environment Minister Dr Saghir Ahmed has advised plastic bag manufacturers to stop production of polythene bags and replace them with paper or cloth bags.

Presiding over a meeting at the Sindh Environment Protection Department in Korangi Industrial Area on Tuesday, he said, “I advise plastic bag manufacturers to give up this practice and start producing paper or cloth bags which are environment-friendly.”—APP
