Lawyers’ rally in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD, March 17: The District Bar Association took out a protest rally on Saturday against the government for torturing lawyers in Lahore and police attack on a TV channel building in Islamabad.

Speaking to protesters, DBA president Tanvir Randhawa and others said that the government wanted to destroy judiciary and media. They vowed to continue their struggle for the supremacy of the judiciary.

Mr Tanvir announced that the DBA would stage another demonstration on March 19.
