KARACHI, March 17: City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal on Saturday directed the CDGK officials with magisterial powers to conduct raids on commercial centres in the ongoing campaign against the banned category of polythene bags.

Presiding over a meeting of revenue officials, he noted that most shopkeepers had been observing the ban, and asked the officials to take stern action against the defiant ones.

FATA SENATOR: Senator Abdul Razzaq from the Federally Administer Tribal Areas (Fata) called on the city nazim and appreciated the city government’s remarkable performance.

The nazim informed him that the city government was serving citizens without any discrimination and taking every possible step to resolve civic problems.
