Boy drowns catching stray kite

KASUR, March 14: A 10-year-old boy drowned in the village pond in a bid to catch a stray kite on Wednesday. Shahzad was following the stray kite in Babliana Otar village when the incident took place. Residents of the area recovered the body when other children reported the matter to them.

ACCIDENT: A speedy tractor crushed a girl to death on Wednesday in Mokal village. Saba, 9, was taking lunch for her father Hasan Muhammad who was working in the fields. Police are searching for the absconding tractor driver.
