KARACHI, March 14: The Sindh Paramedical Staff Welfare Association has appealed to the provincial department of local government for the same benefits for paramedics of both provincial and local governments.

SPSW President Shakir Ali Qadri pointed out that it was disturbing to note that the paramedics employed by the district and city governments were being deprived of the benefits granted to the paramedics working under the Sindh government by virtue of the new perks structure introduced some 10 months back.

He said paramedics employed by provincial and local governments should enjoy equal financial and other benefits.

The EDO Health said that a request in favour of the demand had already been forwarded to the local government department.—Staff Reporter
